FMAB is considered to be the most perfect series of anime series so far. Ranking of any kind of anime it has been at the top for a long time.
What fascinated me most was the main theme, the depth of the story and how well the story was told. Like the Dark series, its author seems to have written the previous line thinking of the latter. No dialogue / action is just happening.
In the modern world we think of religion and science as two different philosophies. Build this series based on these two philosophies.
Let's talk about religion first. There are many who do not understand science. It is forbidden in religion, it is forbidden. But they use religion the most to control people and harm people. FMAB brings it up first.
The third episode shows a priest in a town. He used to exploit and rule people in the name of religion. The scar carter is seen killing alchemists in defense of religion.
He was later found to have used religion only to justify personal revenge. We can see a lot of such people in our society with a little eye contact. For example, militant groups carry out atrocities in the name of religion.
Then there are people who just believe in science. In 5/6 episode a scientist (alchemist) arrives. Agad believes in his science. I am willing to do everything for the sake of science.
This is how science research is playing with the lives of innocent people. How meaningless is the life of the poor, even family, friends, and the poor.
A closer look reveals that deadly things like the atomic bomb have come from obsession with science.
As the series progresses, its characters realize that religion or science alone cannot find the right path. Only one belief will backfire. The two philosophies have their own limitations.
Edward and Alphonse are two brothers. Dad has been away from them since childhood. Sitting in a room just reading a book. When they were a little older, where did my father go? The two brothers started coming and going in the room full of father's books.
Alchemy began to learn. A few years later, my mother fell ill and died. The two brothers applied a forbidden alchemy to bring back the dead mother. But to gain something is to lose something.
That is the law of the world. So big brother loses one arm, one leg. And the younger brother lost his whole body. The story of getting their bodies back. There are seven deadly sins of human beings as villains.

Alchemist Brotherhood has beautifully analyzed human nature, its characteristics. Highlights the greatness of life and death. Fantastic, magical, alchemy with a twist thriller full of humanity, reality and cruelty.

Another highlight of the series is that the hero was never overpowered from start to finish. What happens in most of the series is war, justifying the mistakes of the main characters, but not here.
Pran villain of any series. The villains of this series are on fire. Each villain is symbolized. Carries its own meaning. Satisfying endings like this series can be seen in the series too.
When I first started watching the anime, I dropped some episodes. Honestly, I didn't like the art, the story seemed hilarious. 5/6 years have seen many series but have not seen it.
The second time I started, I finished in three days. It was a pity not to show for so many years. Be patient, the story will be interesting no matter how many episodes go on.
If you ask me to choose the top three from all types of series, it will be. The music in the series is admirable.
