I recently discovered this cool "toy" called an Euler's Disk. They are really cool to watch and hear. Just as you think it's about to stop spinning it just keeps going, and the pitch just keeps going higher and higher.
Disclaimer: I didn't personally make this video, but it demonstrates the Euler's Disk pretty well. I think they used a mirror because it has fairly low friction to keep it spinning longer.
