I got to wear an Olympic Gold Medal.
Much heavier than expected.
They're solid silver covered in gold. I met two of the team members who were elated to be curling stars.
Here's their story:
The United States men's curling team on won its first-ever Olympic gold medal, defeating Sweden 10-7 in the men's final at the PyeongChang Winter Games.
Now I can knock "Gold Medal" off my bucket list.
If I see then again, I'll try to get them on Steemit. Haha yes. We need more Olympic champions.

They were checking into the Mirage hotel in Las Vegas. They were showing off their medals so they could get upgraded to a nice hotel room. Haha.
They were checking in next to me so I asked all kinds of questions and asked to wear the hardware.

Well, I figured since they were flashing their medal around so brazenly they probably wouldn't mind attracting fan. haha.
