Snow dreaming this weekend here in Dallas. The post @dayleeo wrote recently about snow fall, the ski post by @karensuestudios, and all the news of snow in various parts of Texas this weekend has me thinking about snow days! It definitely is not snowing here in Dallas at the moment. I've lived in Texas cities all of my life, and snow has been rare for us here. In Dallas each season we usually may get just a day or two of snow - sometimes light sprinkles and sometimes a few inches of snow that stick! I wanted to share with you all one of the first awesome powder snow days that Watson and Kylie in Dallas that they ever experienced!
It's so rare that I even have saved a screen shot of the weather on my phone! Texas weather is wacky and fickle. We may have snow for 1 or 2 days and then BAM 70 degrees F outside. Many a snowman melted after 1 day of life. :/ I generally like it warm, but its fun to have a bit of snow to play in every once in a while!
When it snows in Texas - Snowmagedon!!!! We aren't really used to driving in snow here, so it always ends up like this below LOL (I had saved this screenshot from this snow day as well of our traffic for documentation sake):
My border collie Kylie kept licking the snowflakes falling around her.
And licking the snow from the ground as well! Brain freeze time :D
Watson had a fabulous time running through the snow. He kept going in circles and bouncing around. It was so cute to watch him!
We decided to take Watson sledding. This is a makeshift sled - its really a boogie board for the beach, but it worked decently for the flat surface, we didn't have much of a hill to play on:P
Unfortunately for him, he couldn't stay on!
This is the aftermath of a couple hours of Watson running around in the snow! Snow mustache!
I hope you all enjoyed the post! Thanks for reading :) Does it snow where you live and what activities do you like to do in the snow? Have an amazing day and steem on!
❤️,
JESS
Hah it's the same at mine ;) Very often we can see the snow in England but for last 3 days we have a proper winter :)

No snow here, unfortunately. I suspect we'll get our fair share in January. It's sad to get a grey, muddy Christmas, but it has been the trend for last.. too many years.
