I'm not entering the competition but I heard a really heartwarming story just a few hours ago.
I commented to a lady in the street that her dog looked like a real cutie and she told me that the dog, Tallulah, 13 years old, had been crippled earlier this year, and 3 separate vets she brought it to for treatment advised it was a hopeless case and wanted to put it down
The dog belonged to her father who died in January, so she was enormously attached to it and didn't want to let it go. She contacted the Supervet , some guy who has a TV show, told him the dog's story and he, very moved by the tale, referred her to a contact of his 100 miles or so from Dublin, who fixed the dog's leg for 2621 euro which the lady borrowed from the credit union.
I'm not given to excessive emotion but I had tears in my eyes listening to her. The dog meanwhile was dashing around tail wagging 90 to the dozen obviously delighted with itself.
Now if that doesn't warm the cockles of your heart, nothing will. It almost restored my faith in human nature.

Just not enough of a good news item to make a post about, and I hate selfies so not going to have to deal with people wanting a selfie to prove it. Good news: For now the doctor does not think it is skin cancer on my nose. After the fourth doctor says go get it looked at, well you get the picture, can only avoid those people for so long. Well the long and short of it is he does not think it is cancer, but since it was a referral he will take a tiny sample and send it off for evaluation. He also does not think the whole thing needs removing and if it is not bothering me, (which it is not), he thinks leave it alone. Imagine that a person that gets paid to take pieces off of you sort of saying it is not necessary thereby giving up potential income..
Well that was my good piece for news, I really don't like tuesdays to much, it is runaround and doctor day lately it seems.
