Hi Everyone welcome to TRUTH OR DARE. LOL. Hmmm favorite herb or spice there are so many of them and i like em all specially when you start blending you can get really great flavors by mixing them together. where would we be with our BBQ chicken spices or Pepper Steak spice and that's just the tip of the iceberg of the explosions of flavor combinations that exist. I think that just about every continent or country even regions have a favorite or preferred set of spices and herbs. The French have a more Provencal evolved spice palette where as the Spanish are almost always hot... or super hot. The Italians and Greeks pretty much share the same spice array and the combinations and varieties increase astronomically as you travel farther east you will find spices you never knew existed that might enhance you meals and everyday life. Myself i love Italian, you know salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, Basilio and garlic what a combo. So it's a sure thing that what ever you like it's probably will be used in today's menu. When i go out to restaurants i like experiencing the real culinary skills for instance i also like Chinese food but i'm very familiar with their spice palette but my mouth loves it i could eat until i explode LOL. My favorite spice is #1 Saffron! It figures that I have to enjoy the most expensive spice in the World LOL! So MANY health benefits. I am a HUGE tea drinker. I always add Saffron to my green tea. MANY People tell me that I don't age. Maybe, Saffron is the secret LOL! I'm having fun with these! Thanks @darsico - Your Friend @extraterrestrial :)

i also like tea but my favorite herb is Parsley and i make a light green tea with it. If ever you want or need to clean your lymphatic system (your bodies water ways) this is amazing. :)

My Australian family are living in Cambodia and we expected the food to be similar to Thailand but it is completely different but delicious none the less? Have you tried Khmer food?

Thanks for asking and what a tough question. I can choose so many but my current favorite is cinnamon. It goes well with so many types of foods from meats to vegetables to deserts and even drinks. I will certainly have it at least one time each day and often several times. When I lived in the US I only knew it in pastries and in hot drinks, now I have use it on so many thing being in South Asia.The taste and the smell actually makes you appreciate your food more. Besides liking Black Pepper on most things, I use a lot of Italian Seasoning which is a mix of Marjoram, Thyme, Rosemary, Savory, Oregano and Basil (according to the back label).
