Branding and design are tricky enough as they are, only to be made worse by the many existing language taboos in our society. There are things you just don’t say in polite conversations, much less you put them in product packaging. Certain words can elicit varied reactions including outrage, laughter, and even speechlessness, to say the least. For some product niches, it’s tricky to come up with designs that will not, one way or another, result ridiculous, and sometimes language differences make product names sound just hilarious. Nevertheless, people responsible for the following name fails should have deepened their researches before choosing to use certain words on their product packagings.
