Political Hypocrisy

It's always the same issues that present themselves, politicians and celebrities want government to negate your choice, but these same rules do not apply to them.

This is classic hypocrisy, and I would go as far as saying this is much worse, because that which they are advocating for will have no visible impact on their own lives. I always revert back to the fundamentals of freedom, if these freedoms have no direct impact on another human being's life. The argument is that some of these other school choices, lack transparency and some of these alternative school options have had some financial scandals surrounding them.

"What is freedom? Freedom is the right to choose: the right to create for oneself the alternatives of choice." - Archibald MacLeish

I actually think that politicians have realised that if government is not in completely in charge of school, these kids might grow up understanding the evils of government propaganda.

Who will vote for them if they are taught the truths about taxation, and all the wonderful other things the government get to take from us. The more freedom the better in my book, yes there will be some down sides like people signing up to schools that are not legit. I would rather be robbed by them than those who are forever robbing us.

"People should have the choice to be able to live where they want to live, go to school where they want to go to school, marry whoever they want to marry regardless of what their complexion is and so forth." - Ed Smith

Remember these people want you to believe they know better than you. If your ideas are so wonderful then you adapt them first, you be the guinea pig with your own children first, then ask others to follow. Remember lead by example.

If the government choose to control the lives of his people, then that government is wicked and harsh Infact that Is a form of slavery. Every body in a country or state are suppose to have right or freedom to choose for them selves the school to go and so on. I really appreciate you using this platform to post you view on this matter. Thank you.

I really appreciate your comment, and yes that is kind of my thinking, government has too a degree enslaved us. See what happens Ed you try to choose not to pay taxes.

Powerful post Mork.

It's like Communists only being communist for the others and not for themselves.

What's yours is mine, what's mine is also mine... plus that thing you earned is mine too.

Good job for taking a political stance, it requires balls these days,
Cheers

Hahahah that's an amazing example bro, which points out the massive flaw in such an ideology.

You're either laughing or you're learning.

I'm doing both my friend, i agree with you, and i'm tired of government taking my money away from me, they take everything away, and then they tell us they use that money to pay for our protection and our infrastructures, well my city needs better infrastructures, the protection i get from cops is almost 0, i think the thief gets more protection from justice than i get...

I agree with you. it really is a true article.

I think the "right of choice" is something idealized. Look who comes to power. in the beginning we choose some, then we do not like them and we choose others. in a few years they change places and so in a circle.

I think the freedom of choice should really be considered
Nice post.

i love it

A lot of truth spoken here. Though I can't say I agree with the sentiment that all government is bad. There being someone to actually enforce your rights is in my opinion a must have. And if said someone was doing their job properly - namely keeping you safe without taking over your life, keeping them sustained should be more than desired. In such a case taxation is not theft. But...considering the current state of governmental structures in most countries around the world, it is blindingly obvious that reform is needed.
