    Nice, my first wheels - Oldsmobile Cutlass, wasn't until my second car (Chevy Cavalier) that I had all my stuff in the trunk. Futon cushion in the back ;-)

              First time I was in the US was in 1993. It was in a suburb of Chicago, Called Arlington Heights. It was end of March. Still very cold. There were even few days of snow. Luckily, my car rental was upgraded and I got a brand new Century. I just loved that car.

                      1989 Ford Escort Hatchback. Lasted me a good 8 years. Took me through college, travels, a couple of adventures, and a few boyfriends (one of whom was a mechanic. I will not confirm or deny whether my need for a good mechanic at that time did or did not have an impact on how long we stayed together.)
