Steemifying Idioms - A Bitter Pill To Swallow

My fear is that new elements of the system such as the single 7 day payout, separate author/comment rewards pools, etc. are going to significantly reduce author rewards. For me personally I worry that this, combined with the struggling price of steem, will result in payouts so small that it will no longer be worth my time to create content for the platform. I have been a very dedicated poster and participant since I joined back in July of last year, so if I am considering stopping then I am sure there are many other steemians, perhaps with less motivation, that will do the same.

I understand, these are some pretty drastic changes. I don't quite have a grasp on what this all going to be like what's it's implemented, and there's no doubt that if the payouts become too small that many people will bail. Losing someone like you alone, with your unique style and clever humor will really hurt the site, so I am definitely hoping that's not the case.
