Great Escape - How our chickens escape

We have funny chickens. In fact, they're so full of character like people. Every once in a while when it's really windy, they find a way to get out of their enclosure because of the gaps in the net. We keep them covered for their protection as foxes and cats can otherwise get to them. They're often happy there, but they do take advantage of the opportunity of being out just to explore the rest of the garden. For example, late yesterday afternoon, one managed to escape and was walking around the garden. When my husband went out to feed them, all I heard was, 'Hey! hey! hey!' and I knew right away at least one had escaped 😂 😂

The good thing is that as a group, they don't mind being out, but if it's one of them, soon enough they want to get back because they feel safer together. So this morning, while hubby was working out, he saw from the window that one of these guys out, again! I captured the escape below:
