We’re not old. No not us. Not old at all, honest.

I went to a BBQ yesterday and caught up with family and some old friends. I was chatting with a woman that I had flatted with for a long time and we talked about how we were refusing to be old.

Doing things like – holding in the grunt you make when you stand up (although it sometimes slips out). At the end of the conversation we agreed that neither of us was old, not really.

Then I pointed out that we had just spent the last 45 minutes talking about our aches and pains and that was pretty much it.

No, we’re not old, not us, never!
