I think everybody is underestimating how serious this flat earth craziness really is. Mocking these people is not going to get through to them, it will further the division. There is much bigger shit going down. Division is the last thing we need.

It is a joke. He also mocks spiritual people in general, vegans, meat eaters.. etc. This type of humor is sometimes called pop-culture humor and is meant to help people with a sense of humor laugh about their differences. There is only divisiveness where you find it.
