Although for some, among which I am, the delay of Metro Exodus was a slight disappointment, the magnificent study 4A Games continues to work very hard in the third part of the franchise, with which they hope to take the ip to new levels of commerciality, and which is the most ambitious project of the study. Huw Beynon of Deep Silver has been interviewed by the official Xbox magazine in the UK, and has given some details about Metro Exodus , and how it will implement the hardware and processing improvements that Xbox One X is capable of. This is what Beynon has said:
Normally 4A Games follows the strategy of trying to get each machine all the juice it can give us. Xbox One X is going to allow us to do things that I'm not sure could be done on other hardware. For example the game will run to native 4K on Xbox One X and also with HDR support. I trust that the game will work great on all platforms, but I am even more confident that the result on Xbox One X will be the best among all the consoles.
You have to remember that the Metro franchise and the 4A Games studio has been linked in some way to Xbox, and that the Microsoft platform has always been the base machine on which the IP titles have been developed, so it's nothing strange that a unique match has been taken to Xbox One X. Metro Exodus will come to our consoles on February 22, and we are convinced that the new 4A will delight Xbox fans, and the great games of the Metro license .
