Above is a preview of what the troop type "Dwarf Guardians" will look like in my mod for this Lord of the Rings licensed Real Time Strategy computer game from 2006. The only difference is that they will have broadswords like they have in The Hobbit book.

Hello again, Steemit! Today I am here to talk to you about "The Eastern Kingdoms", my mod for Battle for Middle-earth II. First off, the naming choice is based on the Games Workshop name for one of the forces of Darkness. Which means the mod's title is based on the Easterlings and Variags, respectively the Men of Rhûn and Men of Khand, the top two most loyal forces to the Lord of the Rings himself, Dark Lord Sauron. Frankly, this mod makes huge decisive changes to the graphics and to the gameplay to make it look photo-realistic and to make it play out with a sense of physical and material realism, while still respecting the fact that LotR's genre is High Fantasy. Plus this adds a fully operational Easterling and Variag faction called "Rhûndor", which is Elvish for 'Eastern lands' and/or 'Eastern Kingdoms', to the game. While renaming the Man, Elf, Dwarf, and Goblin factions "Gondor", "Rivendell", "Erebor", and "Moria"; respectively. In later betas, I will include an 8th fully operational faction called "Rohan".

[1] Gondor
[2] Rivendell
[3] Erebor
[4] Isengard
[5] Mordor
[6] Moria
[7] Rhûndor
[8] Rohan

Do I have a plan for the Rhûndor faction? Yes, actually I do! In fact, I will be posting the faction Plans here as independent posts from each other so that you'll be able to digest one Faction Plan at a time. So thanks everyone for reading! And for everyone who isn't familiar with Battle for Middle-earth or any of the mods for it then look up 'Battle for Middle-earth' on ModDB.com. If you have neither read the LotR book trilogy nor seen its movie counterpart, then both trilogies are absolute musts, I say in a recommending way. Thanks again!
