I was introduced to blender by my friend Tabe kelly.
Before he told me about blender i had no idea concerning what is blender and what you can use blender to do.
I was so currious about learning it.
So I went online did a lot of research and try to follow some Blender Beginner Tutorial Series
By the end of that week i was able to draw my own first 3d model using blender though i was not able then to put textures on it.

What is blender?
Blender is the free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game creation.
Its is a cross platform 3D modeling tool.

Right now i am making progress in my blender adventure because my main goal is to start creating my own game assets using blender.
I am so much in love with game development that is what is making want to learn the blender even more.
