The Legend of Korra: The Game takes place after the events of the third season. The game starts by letting you play with Korra's Avatar powers - earth, fire, air, and water - and battle the dark spirits. A menacing laugh plays and then Korra is overwhelmed by the spirits.

You're transported back to a week earlier, where Korra is preparing for a pro-bending match. We get our first and the only glimpse of Korra's friends and fellow Fire Ferrets, Mako and Bolin. They are instantly knocked out of the ring, leaving you in a one on three matches. There will be fire, water, and earth benders. Use your water bending to push back each of the benders and knock them out of the ring. Try to avoid their attacks.

After winning the match, you'll be rewarded with Spirit Energy, which is the currency you'll use to buy upgrades and various other items in the shop. Korra leaves the stadium then runs down an alley to investigate what looks like two thugs harassing an elderly man. As Korra approaches the thugs flee and the old man laughs before disappearing into black smoke. Korra is attacked then passes out.
