Fake Gameboys are booming, and here are the best of the best.
The gameboy is without doubt my favourite gaming console of all time. Back in the 90's it took gaming to a whole new level of connectivity, especially when they finally released link cables, allowing you to trade Pokemon with friends at school. Over the last twenty years I have keep my eyes on the fake 'Gameboy' market and I can officially say, it's booming.
The nostalgia effect makes them perfect for gifts, collectors and gamers that want to use ROM's to play their old childhood games, and one thing that amazes me the most is that some of the worlds largest marketplaces are packed full of these boot-leg items.
So, I head over to Amazon and pick up the top 5 best selling fake Gameboys I can find, and too my amazement one or two of them are actually, really, really good. And yes, some of them are absolutely terrible... as I thought.
