To pick up where I left off from my post a few days ago, I want to cover a few things that Dan and Dave have shown us through the show that I believe will be confirmed when we get the book.

First, I believe Jon's character will be named Aegon. Initially I hated this idea. There is already an Aegon who has a cloudy past. Why would Martin put another character by the same name with a cloudy past. As I did my reread though, I noticed more than a few foreshadowings. I also have an end game theory that gives us a bittersweet ending that he promised. I'll be posting it eventually as well.

I believe they have shown us the truth about Lyanna and Rhaegar being married. This makes Jon a legitimate child not base born. I don't believe it is an annulment though, I believe it will be a polygamy situation like the original Aegon the conqueror. Show runners just hadn't introduced that aspect, so it would have been hard explaining that away.

The Battle of the Bastards episode shows that Stannis will actually defeat Ramsay. Even though it's one of the best shot episodes to date, I believe it shows that Stannis wins. Jon is dead at the Wall after receiving the Pink letter. This is before Stannis and Ramsay have fought. Kit Harrington being such a focal point on the show is why they changed a few things to make him be the focus instead of Stannis.

I believe they have shown us a relationship of some kind between Dany and Jon. It may not play out the same way, but I believe this shows that there is some kind relationship that will be happen. The running theme here being they won't play out the same but will be a plot point.

The Wall will come down is another aspect. I don't agree with the how it comes down but there is no doubt in my mind it will come down. I believe it will be caused by a casting of Hammers of the Waters, which I'll lay out in another theory later.

Don't hate me but I believe we will be losing a dragon, and we will lose it in the North. This mirrors Rhaenys getting killed and her dragon dying right after Aegon Conquest. I have a hinge theory that explains why it mirrors and why it will be in the North.

So there are a few of the major themes I thing we have learned from the show that will be revealed later in the books. It's like who think Martin gave them broad strokes to cover, and without the little details, it made the series seem to speed up in the timeline aspect. I could be wrong about all of this, but like to think I have an understanding. Thank you for taking the time t read. Jr's always appreciated.

I too hate the name Aegon for Lord Jon Snow. However if GRRM presents it in his fashion, who knows... A Girl may love it.

Aemon would be a great nod to Maester Aemon but I can’t understand why D&D would do this unless it is so in the books. Given some of the bone head plot changes they have made, this would be one of the worst which leads me to believe it is true.

The Wall will fall but not via Ice dragon fire. I’m not sure that your idea of how it comes down will play out as I think it has more to do with the men of the NW not “staying true” as Old Nan said the Wall would hold as long as they did so.
Dany’s vision on the House of the Undying of Rhaegar, a woman and a baby is a bit misleading I think. Looking forward to more of this my friend.
