Tear down that wall?

Good evening! Tonight I'm going to share my thoughts on the remaining episodes of A Game of Thrones, for the remaining (half) season.

First and foremost, lets recap what we know....

Cersei is queen. Arya is a bad, bad woman, Jon Snow and Sansa Stark have some issues they need to talk about (not in front of all of the lords of the northern houses), Dany is coming for her throne, and Sam is doing Sam things.

I'm going to start in King's Landing. First thing I've noticed is Cersei is proving how dangerous she can be, simply by having nothing to lose. She has nearly no allies, save for Euron. Yet, she still sits the throne. If you watch closely, you can see the cracks starting to show. The moment she decided to blow up the Great Sept, that is the point when I think she mentally broke. The moves she makes are too reminiscent of The Mad King. You can see how Jamie reacts as well, he can see that she is losing it. He is still doing his best to try and keep it together to do what he can for her, but he knows how much danger they're in. I think once King's Landing is directly hit, Cersei will try and do something silly with wildfire, and Jamie intervenes and earns himself the Queenslayer title to go along with his Kingslayer title.

But before any of this even happens, Cersei has to have her fun. The released title of Episode 3 is "Queen's Justice". And while this could have multiple meanings, the most likely scenario is going to be Cersei receiving her gift from Euron. She's getting the murderer of her daughter, and her daughter. Now, Septa Unella (shame) would like to remind you all what happens to people who mess with Cersei. Ellaria Sand didn't torture Cersei, or make a fool out of her. She did something much, much worse, and murdered Princess Myrcella. Now, Unella (shame) is still a hostage of Cersei, if she's still alive. Imagine what Cersei is going to let her Zombie Mountain do to a woman who killed her daughter. Imagine what Cersei is going to do when she finds out she's not only getting Ellaria, but she's also getting Tyene, her daughter. Cersei is going to have Tyene killed in front of Ellaria, probably in some sort of gruesome Zombie Mountain type of way. Whatever happens, it won't be a pretty sight.

Now, back to my first point about what pushes Cersei to go Mad Queen on everyone. We'll shift our focus to the Dragon Queen for this one, as she'll be the one to attack King's Landing. Firstly, she'll probably need to pay Euron a visit, or meet him en route to King's Landing. I'm sure there will be a drawn out situation between Euron and Dany, but to be fair... How long is it really going to take for 3 dragons to wreck Euron's fleet? Not very long, as you could probably image. The Dornish are obviously going to still be backing the Targaryen claim, for a multitude of reasons, the most recent being the Ellaria situation. Now, the most ambiguous part of Dany's trip to the capital is going to be Olenna Tyrell's connections. Which, if any, of the Tyrell bannermen are going to follow Randyl Tarly's lead and fight for the Lannisters? Is Randyl going to honor the Tyrell call, or the Queen's call? Personally, I think most, if not all of the Tyrell bannermen come to the aid of Dany, and that makes quick work of the march to the throne. The reason I think that Dany makes quick work of all of this, is because as soon as Cersei is dealt with, she's going to be heading North!

Now before we can get into Dany going anywhere besides Kings Landing, lets talk about her people. She's got Tyrion, who is giving her great advice on what she needs to do to avoid being "Queen of the Ashes". Personally, I think she's going to ignore Tyrion after she finds out Yara and the Greyjoy's fate. Although she did take his advice and invite Jon Snow to come bend the knee.... which Tyrion so carelessly "forgot" to include in his raven. We can assume that Jon and Davos get to Dragonstone pretty quickly, and try to explain why Dany needs to get North. Tyrion has vouched for Jon, but when Dany asks Jon to bend the knee, I think that'll be where this lovely scenario hits a snag. I think that Dany and Jon work through it pretty quickly though for the greater good of the situation around them. Dany eventually agrees to come north, and Jon supports her claim to the Iron Throne, since he has no desire for it. Dany allows him to mine all that sick Dragonglass and start making weapons for the coming war.

Enter Varys. Good old Varys (Varys Targaryen?). The spider has little birds everywhere. Even the tower of joy? I personally think that Varys already knows about Jon Snow's true lineage, and he's going to reveal it to Dany to attempt to get her to trust Jon, or to try and ease some of the tension. I think he says something about this to Jon and Dany, and gets backed by Melissandre that Jon and Dany are both of Targaryen blood. Melissandre won't be around long though, because once Davos tells Dany what she's done to Shireen, I'm sure she'll burn her alive or something similar. Ya know, for justice.

Alright. We've got Jon and Dany preparing for the long night (for the night is dark, and full of terrors). Jon is going to return to Winterfell and find things a little different. I'm sure Littlefinger is steady plotting something on Sansa while Jon is away, but little does he know, Arya is coming home. Arya has seen far too much to put up with Littlefinger's bullshit. My prediction for Petyr Baelish's fate this season is he meets his end in the form of Arya Stark. Maybe she'll faceless men and put on Ned's face, ya know, cause she can. Anyway, when Jon gets back to Winterfell, him and Sansa are due for another ridiculous discussion, probably in front of everyone else, when they find out that Bran is also coming to hang out. Bran confirms everything that has been said about Jon being a Stark/Targaryen, the size of the Night King's army, which makes everyone act a whole lot faster finishing preparations for it. Right about the time where everything seems semi calm (season finale), Bran will have a vision, and see the Wall falling at Eastwatch by the Sea.

So, my ridiculously lengthy recap broken down into what I think is going to happen in a couple sentences here. Cersei's gone. Jamie tries to redeem himself, again. Dany sits the Iron Throne, but not for long because of the Wall falling. Jon finds out his story, has a cool Stark reunion, only for it to end with the Wall falling and everything going to hell.

I didn't touch much on Sam, because he's played such a big part in the first two episodes, I can't think of much else for him to do. I'm sure he fixes Jorah's greyscale and he makes his way into the fray as well. Gendry will probably be the one who finds Theon and gets him back to Dragonstone to report the battle with Euron, and he'll join up with Dany's crew. The Brotherhood without Banners will make their way north, and we'll have the Hound/Arya reunion we all know we want to see.

These are my scattered thoughts on whats going to happen, feel free to comment what you think or any of your ideas, I'd love to read ideas anyone else has!
