It's 1:30 p.m. on a Monday in California, so if you haven't seen Episode 4 by now, you should not be on the internet. Spoilers Will Happen by now, it Is known. What isn't known, is the fate of Jaime Lannister after the "Loot Train Battle" as D&D were calling it. We see the scene from the trailer, where Jaime is charging at 'something'. Now we know it was Daenarys. We also know Drogon is no Theon.... when it comes to Protection, he's always ready for action.
It looks like Bronn saved Jaime from getting ROASTED alive ... (can't say the same for the horses....)
But, we're left with Jaime plunging to what looks like his death ..... and that's where the debate begins. Is Jaime Lannister Dead?
I'll be honest with you all - I'm in the yes he's dead camp.
There is a real conversation/debate happening right now because there wasn't much noise coming from the writers about it. So people aren't really going there, for the most part. However there is a discussion happening around whether or not we've seen the last of the King Slayer.
As Season 7's Episode 4, The Spoils of War came to an end, the last scene we saw as Fully Armor Clad Jaime Lannister sinking to the bottom of an ocean or lake. There is no way a one handed man is going to be able to get out of all that armor, before he drowns.
I have not seen any other 'scenes' from him in the Season Trailers, so this may just be his last scene. Have we seen the last of Jaime or nah?? (Comment below)

It's actually a fitting way for him to die, when you consider that this IS game of Thrones! Often people with important information die off before they can share it. It is what made the scene with Lady Olenna such a joy for fans. Rarely does one get a chance to actually confess to a crime they committed. Especially one as glorious as the killing of King Joffrey.
Yet, with so many people hoping Cersi will find out about this, she just might never.
Even Bronn was trying to get Jaime to tell him what the Queen of Thorns said to him. He could tell Jaime was bothered. All of this, to me points to the kinda set up Game of Thrones has given us throughout the years. Unexpected Deaths is part of why the story became so popular in the first place. Now we are 'beyond the books' ... and so once again we all have an opportunity to be surprised.
I hope by next week, there is no one handed man crawling out of the lake.
Let us feel the loss of the King Slayer, and truly appreciate the power of Dragons. I think it'll make his character that much more memorable, because let's face it. The real battle is to the North.
All this 'who sits on the throne' stuff is not important right now.
The original 'war for the dawn' happened long before the Targaryen's came to Westeros. Eventually all attention has to turn North, and frankly Jaime has spent too much time on the wrong side to be trusted going forward. Same with Littlefinger, who's days, I believe are numbered. All is being 'set right' as we get ready for the actual battle.
Regardless of the good his character has done, he's contributed to a lot of bad as well. I honestly feel that if that was his last scene, it'll just add to the epic story that has been all of our Privilege to witness ....

But you forgot that Game of thrones is fiction so physics don't really matter. If they can bring back Jon Snow alive then many things could happen for Jaime also.

he was saved initially from the dragon so i think it would be silly to have him killed off seconds later. he will be fine imo. i loved tyrion's comments in regards to calling jamie a "fucking idiot" :]

it was silly to charge the Dragon; while heroic .... it may have still resulted in the death of him and whomever it was that saved him. I truly cannot see Jamie partnering up with the North to fight the white walkers; can't see Cersei participating in that either for some odd reason. I think Arya takes her out; possibly the Mountain too. she's a well trained Assassin with a real vendetta. The North is focused on the north; i think she'll help take the south out so everyone can focus on the real threat at hand. Unless Tyrion re-starts the family, House Lannister will be done :) (in my opinion of course!)
I also loved all of Tyrion's commentary this season; especially during that charge ---
