In honor of the 10th Gamescom convention, celebrated in Germany, I'm taking a look at some of the trailers and gameplays being revealed in this gaming event.

Call Of Cthulhu has got to be one of my most anticipated games ever. The project is inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's short story "The Call of Cthulhu" while also being an adaptation of the 1981 role-playing game of the same title. Created by Cyanide Studios, places Edward Pierce in the investigation of the murder of a member of the Hawkins family, which leads him to a mansion where a cult is working its way into reviving a mythical being known as Cthulhu (A name that I'm pretty sure a human being has somewhere in this world).

The gameplay puts is in the arrival of the island where the story will unfold and it presents us the interactions with a man (who I assume is the caretaker of the manor), and it presents us with dialogue options, and the different ways in which Pierce conducts its research. Althout it only last 4 minutes, this gameplay gives us both something... And nothing at the same time.

I feel like a horror game should, not only present to us the mechanics of how it works, but it should also present something that really gives us both the chills and the absolute desesperation so that, when we buy it, the degree of satisfaction is hightened. And with this gameplay, even though the game is already appealing to me, it doesn't give me the full blown need as a gamer.

Maybe I'm a hard person to impress, I don't know, but what I do know is that I want to see a bit more.

Score >>3/5. Call Of Cthulhu will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows on October 30th.

Oh... And here's the link to watch the gameplay. Enjoy!
