Koi is a thematic light strategy game. Players play as koi fish trying to move around the pond eating frogs and dragonflies. Players will play for 7 days (rounds) with the best-fed fish being declared the winner.

Koi has been a fun addition to our board game collection. It’s fairly simple to pick up and play. It has a bit of strategy with movement and playing the natural beauty cards to try and disrupt your opponent's plans. It is simple enough that my 9-year-old was able to pick up the playing cards and movement pretty well. He struggled a little bit with what happens when certain events happen. The artwork is very pretty. I like the gameplay and the overall feel of the game.
