Darewise, a studio founded by Thief designer Randy Smith and Half-Life 2 artist Victor Antonov announced his first game of the week. Its name is Project C and is a sci-fi title with a simulated ecosystem where you can discover a lot of weird creatures and a variety of resources, an opportunity for players to change the world permanently.
"Project C is the first step in an ambitious journey that we want to become an independent company delivering truly high-quality products by competing in the AAA segment with truly innovative experiences. We take inspiration from companies such as Pixar and Bungie, who are committed to delivering quality and unique office culture ever since its creation, "Darewise CEO Benjamin Charby said at the announcement.
Among the other members of the studio are the names of industry veterans working on games like DOOM, Ghost Recon Wildlands, The Division, HALO, Dishonored and others. Judging by the published ads on the studio site, it seems that Project C is at a very early stage in its development, but hopefully, we will hear more about the project this year.
