Part 2
Now these skeletons are a proper kit! Not only is there a lot of character, but the detail and fit are quite good! There's a little mold line cleanup of course, but it's not bad at all. The parts are designed properly so the parts fit together with seams that blend into the design. The torso cloak edge meets the portion of spine on the legs.
Some models have pre-molded weapons, while others have open hands that can accept either a spear or a sword. If you're playing Kings of War, make sure you kit out the soldiers so it's obvious whether a unit is spearmen (anti-cavalry) or basic warriors. If they're being used as RPG enemies, arm them however you like!
The assembly is fast, and there are less pieces for customization than some other companies offer, but all 10 models can still look unique thanks to the design, and this shows that cheap minis for fast army construction doesn't have to mean compromise! The details look crisp enough for painting to be fun.
I won't say these are the best skeletons on the market, but the price/quality balance makes them a solid value. More photos will be coming as I continue assembling the rest of the squad, and hopefully quality will improve! Cell phone auto-focus isn't always ideal for this sort of subject. Also, I will highlight some of the fun bonus goodies this kit includes.

Do you ever paint any of them? I've seen some miniatures that are painted and they look great (maybe i'm thinking of the Warhammer ones).

I do plan to paint them. part 4 in this series will probably include the rest of the skellies, and then I will do a paint test, and then paint the rest en masse. Stay tunes!

You'd like the design aesthetic of the Imperium of Man from Warhammer 40,000 then. SKULLS EVERYWHERE! And they're the "good" guys!

It's a tabletop sci-fi war game with an expanded universe of novels, video games, films, and spin-off games on par with Star Wars in scope.

I recently bought an inexpensive lighting setup for taking better pictures of objects. It came with a green screen "tent" and interchangeable backdrops (black and white) and 2 lights. If you're interested in something like that, I can try to find the link in my email for you. It's perfect for stuff like this and can accommodate even the largest models.
