My Top 5 RPG games in history

Hero Games are a specific genre that once again takes its place on the game podium. That's why it will not hurt to remind you of the best gaming events, whether for witnesses or for new players who would like to taste something from this genre.

5 . Might & Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven

A classic game in the form of saving the world with your preselected heroine. Combination of their professions and characteristics. The combination of their profession and properties is the basis for a successful finish this game. The right combination of all these aspects makes the subsequent fighting a great experience. Improving the qualities of coaches, discovering new and better items, escaping from stronger creatures, and ultimately achieving championships in various schools of magic.

Dozens of dungeons to explore, hundreds of tasks and just a good old school that just will not let go. The story is not so original, and it's a cliché bag, but it's not the driving force of this game, just as it's gaining experience through killing the monster and exploring the world, complemented by gorgeous music. Still today I remember the busy dungeons full of spiders, the joy of learning to shoot two arrows from a bow at once or the first legendary subject. If this is not true gaming nostalgia, I do not know.

4 . Planescape Torment

The last game where the memory loss of the main character was still cool. Nameless and his way to find the reason for his own immortality. The original characters that Morte's flying skull reigns with, and his remarkable remarks and remarks. Three kinds of calling and tons of dialogues. With less exaggeration, it could be said that there are no side tasks here because everything is related to the main character, and insignificant gaming moments may later become fatal.

This game really lives and you need to do it a few times to understand all of its options. A game with great thought and philosophical insights and debates that puts more emphasis on a non-violent solution to the problem with the help of wit and wisdom. The very features of your character provide more options in dialog choices. You can convince your opponents as many times as you can to avoid unnecessary skirmish. But even for fighters or thieves, the game offers a great deal of content, even in dialogues.

3. The Witcher

Thanks to this game series, many players have come into contact with the RPG genre for the first time. The game itself has received a great deal of advertising, either because of a series that has been mostly negative, or because of books that are really brilliant. And thanks to these books was also wonderful gaming universe.

Story, dialogue, character enhancement, and the gaming world itself breathes and lives. The chance to play for a legendary character from the books is unfortunate just for someone and for many it is a fulfilled dream, when they can feel the skin of a monster hunter with its own moral code that is reluctant to break, but the fate always seems that it has no choice.

In addition, the last part has proven something that has not happened to anyone yet. He created a fully functional open RPG world that lives and is not dependent on fulfilling the main storyline. You can do numerous side-by-side tasks and you will still feel that something is happening. The main tasks are then the cherry on the cake. The best RPG of today? Absolutely!

2. Baldur‘s Gate

A jewel among isometric RPG that has nowadays many spiritual successors, but no one has so far failed to settle the original. The very creation of the character can take several hours, choosing a profession and following the dice throw for the best attributes is worth some time, but then you get more rewards in the game.

Your faithful rider meets a number of characters he can embrace in his group, these characters follow their own interests and often do not have to unite with the main hero, which can result in a fight.

Legendary weapons and armor, a number of epic quests, and good old heroism that you only use in armor. Different characters who have dialogues and show contempt or admiration. Several romantic lines, sophisticated magic and other abilities along with Boo's hamster.

One of the best RPGs ever created will not be lost even today, and it still has something to offer, just give it a chance.

1 . Fallout

Forget about those mistakes from Bethesda, here we are talking about classics. Isometric view of the world after the nuclear war. Sand glue in your mouth, instead of sword pumping shotgun and armor place leather vest. Fallout is a king that contains all the elements of the right game of heroes and gives us them in a fresh environment.

Banal search for a water chip will suddenly change to rescue the ruins of human society. There are also a few companions over which you have no control. Forget about revival, this is a cruel world, and as soon as Ian shoots his leg, you do not make it back to him. The game has a very black humor and does not have a problem with the parody of today's society and it contains many pop culture links and hints about famous movies or personalities.

The story itself and the dialogues are the chapter in itself and only underline the atmosphere as well as the music. Enhancing the character is one of the most original that you can experience. The percussion system is legendary and others can only envy silently.

In addition, there is a beautifully balanced difficulty, a great deal of brutality (shooting legs, hands or beautiful dances with a critical hit by a rotating machine gun), another advantage is the funny comments of the opponents or your character.
The second part adds a new world of exploration, new tasks, weapons, everything is bigger and better and more humorous. And that's the way it should be.

loved baldurs gate and fallout :D

My favorite ones are Persona 3/4/5 and Baldur's Gate. Since you included Baldur's Gate on your list, you might also wanna try Divinity Original Sin. It's basically Baldur's Gate's spiritual successor and allows online co-op which is hectic.

This is a really good list - even though I can't comment on Persona as I've never played it. Have to agree that Fallout is absolutely one of the greatest games ever made, and while you included Baldur's Gate, which I loved, I did prefer Baldur's Gate 2. I'm a huge fan of the Might and Magic games, all the way back to Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra, which I played countless hours of back when I was about 13 or 14!

Also wanted to comment on Planescape: Torment... Easily some of the best writing the gaming world has ever seen. Such a classic. If you're interested, I've published an interview with Tim Donley, who was Lead Designer on the game:

Great work - I've followed you. Tried to upvote your post but unable to because it's the last 12 hours before payouts. Sorry! Will be reading and voting on your future content, though.

Keep up the great work.
