Goblins Never Die is a community "choose your own adventure" role-playing game based on Twitter polling. The story proceeds a small fragment at a time, with four options presented for the goblin character's next action.

The game's title is deliberately ironic, because goblins die all the time. The game doesn't end, however. A new goblin emerges from the spawning pits to continue the game, which is left exactly as it was upon the previous goblin's death. The "ancestral spirits" (the players) can, in theory, pick up where a previous goblin left off--- but after getting a name from the Goblin Queen, the players are usually distracted by something else. Most goblins barely make it out of town.

In some cases, there has been a tie in the Twitter poll, and the goblin has obligingly attempted both activities at once.

Goblin Culture

While players tend to send response GIFs and make commends, discussion of play isn't as big a part of Goblins Never Die as it is with Emoji Tetra. But, the game's author/DM will often respond in an in-universe idiom, often with a reference to Zoog, the goblin's sadistic and literacy-hating god.

Players' short attention span (and long time between entries) makes it hard to plan, which I suppose is an authentic way to role play a not-very-bright goblin. But, the humor Rollinkunz puts into the entries makes it worth following along.
