About Atlantica Game
Atlantica is a 3D strategy MMORPG game developed by NDOORS Interactive and published by NEXON. This online game was released on October 30, 2008 in North America and April 9, 2014 in the UK. Atlantica has a unique turn-based combat system. Atlantica themed fantasy, and versions of earth's history. Players will travel through 6 of the 7 actual continents, plus the continent of Atlantis, in a version of the earth filled with a wonderful mixture of history, mythology, and culture.
At the Character-making stage, this Atlantica game has its drawbacks. There are 3 Races to choose from: Descendants of Atlantis, Heroes, and Atlantians.
Descendants of Atlantis
in this race we can use Sword (Knight), Spears (Dragoon), Axes (Reaver), Gun (Rifleman), Bow (Marksman), Cannons (Bombardier), Instrument (Maestro), and Staff (Mage) class that is locked and can be opened when the character has reached the level of 100 that is Chainsaw (Berserker).
Heroes
This race is only 1 class that can be used when reaching level 30 is Bow (Celestial Hunter) but this class is locked gender and do not have customization option.
Atlantians
In the Atlantians race, here there are 3 classes namely, DualSword (BladeMaster), Whip (Stormcaller), and Staff (BattleMage). They have a customization that is about 5 faces, 9 hairstyles and 3 hair color for each character.
After Character Creation, we are ready to enter the world of atlantica and will receive the first set-quest that will teach us about the basic mechanics of the game, especially turn-based combat systems and mercenary systems. The basic concept is that we get a turn to attack the opponent, then after our turn ends the turn of the opponent who will attack. And mercenary system that makes the battle interesting. With mercenary we can make our party formation up to 9 characters including main character. Each of them has their own unique skill and combat style.
How to Play (Rules)
Just like before the basic concept of combat system is, we will get a turn that is limited to a certain time to attack the opponent.
After we attack, then there will be a turn of the opponent that will attack us both PVE and PVP. When PVE, we get a winning condition when we defeat all enemies, and we will lose when all our mercenaries die or our main characters die or we surrender / escape. For PVP we win when all mercenary enemies die or the main character of the enemy die as well if the enemy surrenders and runs away, and vice versa if we lose. If we die by a monster alias PVE then we will get a penalty reduction of gold by 10% of the gold we carry. That's the rules or how to play this game atlantica. Determining Items, Tools, Crafts and Markets
Due to many types of mercenary and necessities then in Atlantica Game itself there are many items and equipment. We can get items and equipment by defeating the forest monsters and get the drop, gift box from dungeon, crafting, and buy it in the market. For items with rare rarity get it will be very difficult, and even if you buy it will also spend a lot of gold. So in other words Atlantica games in addition to the need for tactics or strategies also require hockey or luck from a player.
For equipment we can get it from crafting, while for crafting we have to get the right materials and accordingly.
For market in atlantica this use crossed over market system, that is market here from many server merged into one. Suppose the goods server A server can be purchased by player server B because the market is made into one another. In addition to the market, here is also a bank system, which allows us to save money and money, because if we die when doing quests and then our money will reduced by 10% for getting penalty. Therefore to avoid bad things, we should keep the goods in the bank. And also the goods sold will be automatically entered into the bank.
Having A Community List (Space)
Here we can also socialize with other players because it has a community list feature that contains Friends, Guild, Nation, Peers, and New. Friend is friendlist which can make other player become our friend. Guild is a group that is founded by players, and still exist in an online game. In a guild, we can find a simple structure of an organization that is, chairman, representative and member. Next is Nation, here Nation is a combination of several guilds. Peers Peers is a menu to show a list of players whose level is equivalent to us. Then there is New, is a menu to show us who is new to play and have a low level.
And the last of this game is every player get experience and learning. Because atlantica game is very addictive. In addition to that in this game I learned many things, such as social, financial management, actual with friends.
