Welcome back, readers! In this mission, I only conquered only 1 city because I am helping my mother to reorganize and clean the house for Hari Raya tomorrow. Hence, I can only this game for a limited time. Let me add that today I will be going to shave and cut my hair after 10 months growing it and being unemployed. Starting from Monday next week, I will be going to look for a job as quickly as possible to enable cash flow to my OCBC bank. Anyway, let’s focus on this mission.

At 2:04 mins, the enemy boats attacked my boats which were given to me at the start of the mission.

At 2:34 mins, my three warriors bumped into Zhang Yi and his troops. Soon after killing his troops, Zhang Bao and his army came. This was getting rather hard for my warriors to withstand the enemy’s attack. My warriors retreated back to my city.

At 17:56 mins, while my warriors were entering the city, the enemy followed suit.

At 22:48 mins, the enemy brought with them the scaling ladder.

At 24:29 mins, the blue troops attacked my city gates.

My three warriors were instrumental in killing the majority of the enemy’s army.

At 27:02 mins, I announced my invasion upon Yong’an! Below is the prologue, dialogue, and mission. Signing off! Sejuk!

Prologue

Wu’s army fought to the north and carved off half of the territory of the Kingdom of Wei as if using a sharp sword. At that time, in the Kingdom of Shu, Liu Bei had passed away, all of his “Five Tiger Generals” and Kongming had died, the Second Emperor, Liu Shan, was muddle-headed and incapable and Shu’s general, Jiang Wei, was still leading the main army in battles against Wei’s men in Hanzhong.

Lu Xun observed that the Kingdom of Shu had been worn down by being involved in wars for years, the Second Emperor was unscrupulous and incompetent and thus his people were discontented and all the Kingdom’s able men had been lost. It seemed to Lu Xun that the Kingdom of Shu was the weakest it had ever been.

Lu Xun then reported to Sun Quan with a recommendation that Wu should station an army east of the Kingdom of Wei to make a deceptive show of force. Then envoys could be sent to the Kingdom of Shu to make peace whilst at the same time an army would be ordered to make a surprise attack against Shu and annihilate it with a single attack.

Wu’s envoy returned and reported that in the Kingdom of Shu, the Second Emperor, Liu Shan, gave all his trust to his eunuchs who took charge of all affairs, big and small. It seemed that he was following the same old disastrous road which led to the ruin of the Emperor Xian.

On learning this, Sun Quan was very pleased that the Kingdom of Shu appeared to be so weak that it should capitulate with a single overpowering attack. Sun Quan then appointed Lu Xun the Great Commander-In-Chief, Zhu Huan General of the Left and Quan Zong, General of the Right and they led several hundred thousand imperial troops upstream in boats. They marched into the Riverlands and launched a direct attack against Chengdu.

Dialogue

Sun Quan: Since my last battles, my troops have had good rest for many a year. They have been re-organized and are fully equipped. I have had it in mind for a long time to eliminate the Kingdoms of Shu and Wei.

Sun Quan: Today I have decided to conquer the Kingdom of Shu first. And then using both land and water troops to subdue and annex the Kingdom of Wei. Thus we will unify the whole realm. I wish you all success from now on my Generals!

Lu Xun: We will not disappoint you, your Majesty!
