ONE DOWN!

This would be the structure of my build with detailed explanations for use of skills for the game Payday 2.

This is my personal build which I use for ONE DOWN paired mostly with the rogue perk deck I have used anarchist and sicario however I am trying to make a build which is free without the ultimate edition of payday 2.

PART 1

Mastermind Tree

Medic Subtree

  • Tier 1

    Combat Medic(Basic) Combat medic Image
-Basic (1 pt): You gain a 30% damage reduction for 5 seconds both after and during reviving another player.
We only need Combat Medic to begin what we require in the Mastermind tree, but 30% damage reduction is not a bad idea, once we reach the top of the tree for inspire, which you would be likely doing A LOT.

  • Tier 2

    Painkillers(ACED) painkillers Image
-Basic (2 pt): Crew members you revive take 30% less damage for 5 seconds.
-Ace (4 pt): The damage reduction is increased by an additional 50%.

Now your crew has gone down and is under heavy fire after they have been revived, they will now have a 50% damage reduction with painkiller ACED! This is useful when it comes to doing objectives.

  • Tier 3

    Combat Doctor(ACED) Combat Doctor Image
-Basic (3 pt): You can now deploy 2 Doctor Bags instead of just one.
-Ace (6 pt): Your doctor bags have 2 more charges.

As you will be using this build for one down you will be going down A LOT and bringing doc bags is what is needed to survive, therefore you need more doctor bags with more charges.

  • Tier 4

    Inspire(ACED) InspireImage
-Basic (4 pt): You revive crew members 100% faster. Shouting at your teammates will increase their movement and reload speed by 20% for 10 seconds.
Ace (8 pt): There is a 100% chance that you can revive crew members at a distance of up to 9 meters by shouting at them. This cannot occur more than once every 20 seconds.

THE GRAND DADDY MUST HAVE SKILL! Being able to shout at a fallen crew member, is such a powerful skill you will need it to succeed in one down, as you and your crew is going through the hail of bullets, one will go down and reviving them with the risk of going down by the same bullet storm that brought your partner down, will not help, this will remove that problem and inspire your partner to get back up to where they were going.

Controller Subtree

  • Tier 1

    Forced Friendship(Basic) Combat medic Image
-_Basic (1 pt): Increases your supply of cable ties by 4. You can cable tie hostages 75% faster. _
You need to have more cable ties and hostages, more on hostages later(Please try and keep your hostages, try and move them to your camping ground and try not to have them shot or blown up with grenades)

  • Tier 2

    Confident(ACED) confident Image
-Basic (2 pt): The power and range of your intimidation is increased by 50%.
Ace (4 pt): You can now have 2 converted enemies at the same time.

Converting more cops into your side of the crew can be beneficial than just having the original 4 that you always have.
    Joker(BASIC) Joker Image
-Basic (2 pt): You can convert a non-special enemy to fight on your side. This cannot be done during stealth and the enemy must have surrendered in order for you to convert them. You can only convert one non-special enemy at a time.

  • Tier 3

    Stockholm Syndrome(ACED) Stockholm Syndrome Image
-_Basic (3 pt): Civilians are intimidated by the noise you make and remain intimidated 50% longer.
Ace (6 pt): Your hostages will not flee when they have been rescued by law enforcers. Whenever you get into custody, your hostages will trade themselves for your safe return. This effect can occur during assaults, but only 1 time during a heist. _

This is why we need to protect our hostages, which are best taken ASAP if civilians, Stockholm syndrome allowing you to get out of custody is AMAZING, this skill for me personally is never used much, but it can get you out of a situation when needed, I would suggest trying to save it until your team really needs you(everybody is down and cannot revive each other), my other suggestion is to pair it with the Swan Song skill, I would suggest weakening and enemy and have them cuff themselves if you are gray and on your last down, this way having an enemy hostage gets you out of custody for those solo runs or with bots.

  • Tier 4

    Hostage Taker(BASIC) Hostage Taker Image
-_Basic (4 pt): Having at least one of your own hostage or converted law enforcer makes you regenerate 1.5% health every 5 seconds. _

Not a required Skill but if you wish to use the 4 points else where, that is up to you but I would suggest one down try and get as much health as you can with your hostages or converted cops, I personally just thinks this gives me an upper hand having more health, as my main rule is camp somewhere safe take cover with your hostages and only engage in combat when necessary, so trying to keep your health at maximum this would be the way to do so.
