Hey everyone

I wanted to share a bit more about the story behind my campaign. The adventurers started out in a Tavern called The Dirty Chestnuts otherwise known as Dirty Nuts in a city called Black Hollow in the Territory called Banshee's Port. This area was shady and had lots of criminal activities that went on and it was a port town. The night they started their grand adventure it was stormy and nasty outside. Suddenly an army invaded BlackHollow's procedure was to led all non military to safety. So Eldric led them to safety. there was some interruptions along the way that heroes quickly took out along the way. They even rescued a fair maiden. They joined up with a group of people to save the world. They were led to Sanguine another city in the territory of City of Blood. They had to investigate some strange things and even met some vampires. The strange events led them to another city after that named Lupine which was in Strong Vault. They met a catfolk who couldn't decide what gender they were. This led them to hearing a rumours about a cult that was rising and the catfolk's assistant had gone to investigate which then led them to another city called Merrow. The group of heroes stole a flying broom from Lupine and then left to go check out this cult. This is where they are at the moment and I made not be able to post the whole campaign but just bits of it as I don't want to ruin it for others. The players are also writing the story may change each time I do have a rough plot for them to follow. I just hope you guys like this.

Thank you for the upvotes and comments.

I wish I could play :(

I'm thinking of doing something like this with my nephews. The vlogger is using the D&D adventure boardgames to run D&D 5E games. I've got 3 of the boardgames, but I'd need to strip a lot of the rules to keep the kids interested. It looks like it could be fun.

Getting kids into the game isn't that hard just simply set it up like you're fighting an army or you have to rescue a baby dragon. Don't worry about perception and all the "adult" type rules that could confues them. Candy for the enemies, finding a simple character sheet and just get them having fun.
