Today I had the EX-Raid at the Houten Schip Gym. Before the EX-Raid there was a level 5 Raid at a nearby Gym too, some of us went to that one before heading to the EX-Raid. I managed to catch the Mewtwo and then also catch the Deoxys in the EX-Raid. For the EX-Raid team Valor went in first. After they were in team Instinct went in. Then for team Mystic we had to split in 2 groups as there were too many for one lobby.
When I was about to leave in the Eeveening to go and take over a Gym with some of my team members I launched the game at home. Suddenly I saw this pop-up about encountering Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region! I couldn't Bayleef my eyes. I knew that gen 4 would start showing up soon as there had been some rumours. Then today when I updated the game before it was mandatory there was suddenly a Sinnoh tab in the Pokédex already!
After reading the news I closed it again and I saw silhouettes for Bidoof and Kricketot on my nearby list. I had to walk past two of those Pokéstops before going to the Gym with my team, so I chose for those where Kricketot was.
I managed to catch both of them on my way to that Gym. This time for once I remembered to also use the AR feature to take a picture of the Bidoof!
I also saw a Buneary later on, but it was rather far away so I didn't go to it yet. I did catch one more Kricketot and about 5 more Bidoof while walking around a bit after taking over the gym. Eventually I saw a Starly show up in the list, but also at a far away Pokéstop. I'll can come across them later on if I go out again or perhaps tomorrow.
As with the release of Pokémon from Hoenn, these Pokémon from Sinnoh will be making their wave to Pokémon GO in waves. That means over the next weeks some more of them will start showing up in the wild, also hatch from eggs and show up as Raid bosses! There will be updates about the new Pokémon, new features, and expansions to existing features like the Pokémon storage and more! Perhaps an increase in the items bag size as well, that's something we'll find out in a while.
Good thing I decided to start hatching some regular eggs again instead of Alolan eggs. As it would be nice to have a chance to get some Sinnoh Pokémon from new eggs soon.
I'm really looking forward to Luxio being added as it's so cute!
