It's been really hot outside here during the day for the past week. It's as if Groudon is somewhere around here, but I haven't seen him in raids for a long time! Due to that heat I haven't gone out during the day that much to play Pokémon GO. More in the evening and sometimes a walk at night before I go to sleep as it's much better outside then
Luckily I live close to a few gyms, so I have been able to go out for raids a few times. Earlier this week an Alolan Raichu raid popped up nearby, some others in our raid group were going to do that one, so I joined them. That was my first Alolan Raichu raid and I caught it!
The other day the same gym had an Alolan Marowak raid on it, once again made plans with people in the raids group to do that one. Managed to catch it easily as well! Seems like that gym really loves the Alolan Pokémon! Today around similar times it had an Absol raid though, which I did as well

Looks like both Alolan Raichu and Marowak love to stand on one leg when they're showing off their performances! That Alolan Raichu better keeps its ghostly fire away from me with this heat though!

I hope these raids stay around for a while, as they're fun to do. So that I can hopefully do more of them too if it's less hot again during the day. They might show up in the evening too, but so far I've only seen them during the day
Now my current Alolan collection, excluding evolutions, is almost complete. Just missing the cute Vulpix! Once I have Vulpix too I'll look into evolving them
