It's funny how this differs from person to person. You see, I'm quite the opposite. I can't play quickplay anymore. It's just not the same. I need that competitive aspect. Having said that, I definitely understand how it can be painful.

Where do you rank in comp?

I hover around 2.5k, so nothing too special but I have noticed it is less frustrating the higher you go. It's no less toxic but it is at least more common to find a team with a proper comp and fundamental understanding of the game when you are at 2.5k say compared to 2k. I've seen a lot of people say that its all the same all the way up to master. It's not. Well at least I don't think it is.
Put it this way, when I solo queue at 2.5k games seem to be much less of a headache. Compare that with when I queue with my friend who is usually <2k and there is a clear difference. Of course not every game holds true to this because you are going to run into certain people that a throwing/tanking or just trolling but yeah that's my experience.

I'd agree with you. I haven't played any of Season 4 but I was around the 2.4K mark and it seemed like there was a lot more teamwork and actual comp building as opposed to the lower ranks. You have to when you get higher up though or else the other team will crush you.
