A beginners Guide to Setting up RetroPie on the Raspberry Pi 3

This tutorial will guide you from start to finish on how to set up your Raspberry Pi 2, Raspberry Pi 3, or Raspberry Pi Zero as a emulation powerhouse using RetroPie. No prior experience is required, you just need patience, the items below and around 15-30 minutes.

Items Required:

Raspberry Pi 3 or 2!
Micro SD Card – At least 4Gb class 4
Micro SD Card Reader
USB Thumb Drive
2.5A Power Adapter for Raspberry Pi 3
2A USB Power Adapter for Raspberry Pi 2
Micro USB Cable
USB Gamepad (I use the Microsoft 360 Controller for Windows)
USB Keyboard for configuring the Raspberri Pi
Windows Laptop or PC (Mac is also possible but I don’t go over those steps in detail)
