Albion Online, Arena Vid #5

in gaming •  7 years ago

Hey guys, I have another arena vid for you guys to check out. This one was a little more difficult than I thought and we won with 1 point remaining. We died a lot but these guys heavily outweighed us in item power and spec. Even with all the deaths we pulled through and gained control of the points to take the win. Im working on a different kind of video for next time and hopefully I can get it up tomorrow. It is a video that will highlight some of the team fights I have come across in the black zone.

How is Albion Online anyways? I've had a cautious eye on it for a while now, but never really saw any review or gameplay of it. This right here looks kinda MOBA-esque to me.

The arena is definitely a moba style game however the game is a sandbox mmo similar to eve at its core. 99% of the heart in the game is crafted by players and when you die, generally you lose anything in your player inventory. So it's like eve online combined with Diablo. The progression of skills is very intense and takes a lot of grinding. You have a different skull for just about every piece of gear. Your abilities actually come from the gear you are using and you have a very wide range of abilities to choose from. Guild also own territories, similar to eve corps owning star systems. You can lose territories to other guilds by losing 5v5 battles that are called GvG our guild versus guild. There are also monthly resets on territories and those are the times you see a lot of large groups taking territories. It's a very cool game with a lot to do, but some peopledon't like the sandbox environment
