We were told that big news was coming this month, and here it is!
Not only will Last Year: The Nightmare be featured during PAX in Boston next month (my friend Mad-Eye Yokai will be there to talk with the devs! I'm so jealous!), but the Beta will open shortly after to backers. And, last but not least, they have announced that the game will see its official launch in Summer 2018!

More info will be on its way as they share with us all the new changes since their last update.

My friends and I are very excited for this game! If you don't already know about it, it's (another) asymmetrical PvP horror game that pits 5 player-controlled high schoolers against 1 player-controlled killer. It takes most of its inspiration from classic horror films such as Friday The 13th and Cabin in the Woods, and looks like it will focus on the jumpscare aspect of horror films rather than the adrenaline of the chase (like with DBD).

If you'd like more info on this game, I posted a blog summarizing it a few weeks ago. Some of the information is liable to change since it's based on old sources, but it will still give you an idea of what this game is about. Here's the link:
