This video just popped up on my feed:
And with it, they announced that they scrapped the development of Metroid Prime 4. Not entirely scrapped, though. They're starting from scratch, and they've brought back a heavy hitter to help them:
###Retro Studios!
That's right, the developers behind the original Metroid Prime series are coming back to assist with the development of Metroid Prime 4. Frankly, I'm okay with this. Nintendo had the wherewithal to realize that the game wasn't going to be as good as they would like, so they decided to take the time to make it better. This is a smart business strategy on their part, even if it costs them right now. Personally, I love the Metroid Prime series. I think it's a great game series. I love what Retro did for Metroid Prime 1 and 2, and I look forward to seeing what they do with Metroid Prime 4.
What do you think? Is this a good or a bad thing? Do you think this is a smart decision from Nintendo?
