Mario is the main image of NINTENDO, above all others. It has been a reference in 2D platform games and one of the first in 3D, in addition, a game that has left footprints throughout generations in its different presentations, which put pressure on NINTENDO since making a new Mario for this generation of consoles, it would not be an easy task, it should also be incredible, not only could it be a good game and NINTENDO succeeded.
When you start playing, the first thing that surprises you is the freedom that the world of Super Mario Odyssey offers, we can freely explore the whole world that offers the game, therefore, it is called a being of the references of the genre.
The possibility of exploration ends almost entirely with any possibility of monotony since the player has the ability to decide what to do throughout the game. Mario always offered freedom and dynamism with his movements and powers, but what has been achieved in this delivery surpasses all of the above.

The imagination of the players is an important point in this game in which we will need the tools put into the game by the developers to step on the way to the objectives.
With respect to the controls, they are very well optimized, making the experience with the JoyCon of the switch something quite pleasant. The designers wanted to fully exploit the possibilities of the console and so the classic players can use the Mario control in a traditional way and the NextGen can use the JoyCon separately if they want.

There are moments that are, simply, to take off the hat (never better said) and that denote the love that the team has put into this project.
It has had to be difficult to raise and develop this game, it seems complicated to have so much range of movement, so many possibilities, so many powers and not to break along the way. Only through a demanding process of iteration is it possible to create something that allows both to be polished at the same time. It is common in the video game that grants a license to open games that allows many things, therefore, because it allows and accepts it as a logical consequence of an expansive design.
