Good Night Everybody, how are you today? Hopefully you all in good health and fine. As always, I'll be present every day, to share game related information, be it game reviews, game strategies, how to play games, or something else. And on this occasion, I want to discuss a one of God of War game series, which entitled a God of War III. As we know, God of War III is an action-adventure game hack and slash, which developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3 console, which was released on March 16, 2010. For that, don't go anywhere and stay here to get more information about this game.
The story begins, when Kratos, Gaia, and the other Titans, try to climb Mount Olympus to destroy the Olympian gods. On arriving atop Mount Olympus, they try to attack Zeus. But, Zeus instead pushed them from the mountain. Then, Kratos fell to the Styx River, and he lost the Blade of Olympus. Kratos tried to climb the mountain back through the river, because he remembers Athena, who had sacrificed himself to save Kratos from Zeus. Athena told him, with that sacrifice he saw a truth that he had never seen before. He also stated if as long as Zeus is in govern, there will be no hope for mankind to live quietly. Not only that, Athena also gave her something called Blade of Exile to kill Zeus.
Then, Kratos continues his ascent and kills the god of Helios, and throws him into eternal darkness. After he killed Helios, Kratos found a box, and there Athena told him that the flames around the box could only be extinguished by Pandora. Kratos then meets with Hermes and he kills him after Hermes taunts him for the sin that Kratos once did in the past. After that, Kratos meets with Aphrodite, who takes him to Hephaestus via Hyperion's Gate, a teleportation device, which will send Kratos to Tartarus to retrieve the Omphalos Stone so that he can forge a new weapon for the Spartans. Long story short, after Kratos managed to forge weapons, Hephaestus tried to kill Kratos. The Spartans, who knew about it, planned to kill Hephaestus, but upon arriving there, Hephaestus apologizes for the incident, and he says if he did, just to save his daughter Pandora, who was imprisoned in Labyrinth after Kratos opened the box. Hearing the explanation, Kratos and the Spartan uses Hyperion Gate, heading to the Labyrinth to find and rescue Pandora.
For Gameplay, I think it'is almost the same as the previous installment, where you'll play as Kratos, in combo-based combat, platforming, and also puzzle games. So, no wonder you will encounter a variety of creatures from Greek mythology, including centaurs, harpies, chimeras, cyclopes, satyrs, minotaurs, sirens, cerberuses, and also the Gorgons, as your enemies here. In addition, here you will also be required to climb the wall, climb the ladder, jump over the ravine, and also swing the rope to finish the game. Meanwhile, to solve the existing puzzle, you simply place the required object in a certain position. In this game, your main weapon is the Blades of Exile, which is a pair of knives attached to a chain wrapped around Kratos's wrist and arm. Not only that, you can also get new weapons in the game like the Nemean Cestus, or Nemesis Whip. Nemean Cestus itself is a pair of gloves, which you can use, to break through a objects, while Nemesis Whip, more similar to Blades of Exile.
Then, magical ability possessed by Kratos, you can use to attack and kill enemies, such as the ability of Claws of Hades' Soul Summon, or other magical ability. In addition to some of the main weapons above, Bow of Apollo, Head of Helios, and Boots of Hermes, all three can also be used on certain games, such as Helios Chief which you can use as a lantern in the dark as possible. And Lastly, a new addition to the gameplay, is a remote maneuver that can pull Kratos towards the enemy or force him to go at certain points to complete the game. Then, the next additional feature is a Challenge Mode called the Olympus Challenge. Well, this mode will guide you to complete a series of specific tasks. Such as kill all enemies without using weapons before time runs out or some other task. As for Combat Arena mode, you can use to adjust the difficulty level and hone the ability to play through practice.
