Released 1996 on Arcade and Neo Geo it is not the newest game.
But it is still incredibly fun.
I remember seeing it the first time at a camping place in Spain.
I threw in a couple of coins and started to shoot. My lifes lasted for about 3 minutes.
As it is a very hard game.
It got released on pretty much every console and usually it is only a couple of dollar.
It is a classic 2d shoot em up but remarkable for its details,animations and difficulty.
You can play it coop but I always thought that makes it even tougher as more stuff is flying around.
While it was quite violent the time it first released it always had a kind of humor.
And nowadays no one would really blink an eye as the violent bar got raised a lot over the years.
It is the perfect game for the switch imo despite it is best played with an arcade stick.
But for just a short ride with the bus it is fun to shoot some rebels.
