Gunstar Heroes REVIEW - Poppie

in gaming •  6 years ago

It's been a while, if ever, that I review one of my favourite games, and it's from a company that escaped the dark depths of Konami and lived to tell the tale. It's Treasure's Gunstar Heroes for the Sega Mega Drive.

Woah the gameplay looks AWESOME! I love the design of the bad guys and this just looks like pedal-to-the-metal frenetic action fun! I had never heard of this before. Actually I had to look up what the "Sega Mega Drive" was, we called it Sega Genesis. I always thought Sega Genesis games looked great at the time, although perhaps have been forgotten a bit as Nintendo and Sony took over.

One of the best run and gun games ever made. Treasure is in my top three list of game developers. They knew how to utilize the 110% of the SEGA Genesis hardware.!
