Hello everyone who reads this post!
Today I bring you a short review of a game which i play many hours in my childhood, I had really thought to make a more general memory and talk about the complete franchise of the Sims, however I have not played all the games so it would not be correct .

The Sims 2 is the sequel to the Sims, was published on September 17, 2004, and presented radical changes, added many new possibilities and the particularity of the move to a three-dimensional view. The game is in the genre of "Social Simulator" or "Life Simulator"; the goal is to take our family or Sim that we have created through each of the stages of their life, fulfill their aspirations, and make the family grow, the great thing is that you could do what you want, you could experience the opposite of the original objective of the game, or dedicate yourself to achieve the maximum rank in a job, what you want!
Something incredibly innovative for the time was that they included the genetic inheritance, that is, the Sims that were born would look like their parents, that is, each Sim had a DNA that passes from generation to generation. In addition, every relevant decision we made affected them, even their memories were recorded!
There were several neighborhoods, Vista Gentil, Las Rarras, Villa Verona, and others that were added with extensions; each one with a story that you could continue or rewrite, as you see fit. I remember that I was very curious about the Rarities, because there were several stories of abductions, and there was even a playable Sim Alien!
In fact you could have a Sim Alien, but you had to follow certain steps to achieve it.

Each extension brought a set of new features, clothes, actions, interactions, places, even creatures!
I remember that I did not have all the extensions, but with the ones I had I enjoyed a lot, these were The Sims 2 and the four seasons, The Sims 2 Pets, The Sims 2 University Students, The Sims 2 Open Businesses and the Sims 2 Night Owls. The one that I liked the most was the one that included opening businesses, because it had characteristics that caught me a lot, like the possibility of making robots, toys and other things.

I liked that expansion so much that I even had the golden badge in the creation of robots and toys. I also opened a business at home, it was really interesting how many possibilities there were.
For each extension there used to be some new creature, for example, in the open business was the Servo in the pets was the Werewolf, for night owls was the Vampire, there was also the Sim plant, and I remember hearing that there was even a Big Foot but I did not play that extension. There are also Ghosts and Zombies but those were in the base game, and you could get them to appear with certain steps, for the ghost I remember that you had to be in a graveyard at night and for the zombies there was to make a deal with the Parca.
Servo
Zombie
Sim Plant
Werewolf
Vampire
Big Foot
Each creature had a specific method to achieve its status, it was very interesting to try to get it; Another thing that I liked very much were the special objects that were achieved by achieving the highest rank in a job, for example "Laganaphyllis Simnívora", it is an added reward for the expansion "Universitarios".
This plant can literally devour Sims, and by doing so it adds the possibility of milking it and thus obtain an "Elixir of life" that adds 5 days of useful life to your Sim.
Laganaphyllis
Simnívora
I remember that I also played a version of nintendo Ds, but it was focused on veterinary work.

This game marked part of my childhood, I remember playing it at home and comparing the progress with the games of my cousins, we designed beautiful homes, and we had games with many achievements. But then I tried to play it again and it did not seem so fun, I guess it's because the tastes changed over time and I had already discovered most of the achievements before.
Aww I loved sims 2! It's cool to look back on what sims games used to be like, especially when you think about what they're like today. Sims 4 has a lot to offer, but Sims 2 was absolutely fantastic in its time and still has appeal today.
