If you are a hardcore and longtime Destiny player like me you would remember the times that the hype train would lead up to a new DLC just to be lost on where the game was headed in the future. After years of providing Bungie feedback on this issue, they finally opened the channel of communication earlier this year to maintain its player base updated with the roadmap of the game more consistently. With the recent launch of Forsaken, they also updated with more detail the roadmap for another year of Destiny. Some of the details provide some great changes that have been on the laundry list of players for some time now.

We see that the Fall will have the Festival of the Lost return as a free event for Destiny players. That will also lead to the new Season which will be the 5th in Black Armory which looks quite intriguing. Some of these drops contain new content that include new activities as well as additional maps and raid lairs for players to continue to immerse themselves in the universe that Destiny provides. Bungie has stated that its goal is to provide a constant flow of content to engage the player base for the duration of each season.

We see that they are committing to their promise by looking forward into 2019 with additional events for Spring and Summer. While details are still pending, the goal of consistent content seems to be achieved with some of their details. The inclusion of new activities is exciting given how the development team comes up with activities that can attract different types of player. Gambit is their latest example as has been an enjoyable game mode that combines elements of PvP and PvE that gamers often have preferences for. It is exciting to see that they remain committed to delivering a stream of content to maintain players engaged. This will become more important as more games are released to compete with Destiny.

Thanks!

It was a quite week as my VP and RC recharged but I took the time to write some posts offline to come back with some content. Since things have normalized, I have not had much restrictions on my activity yet.
