It has been a slow as of late for me on Pokemon Go due to many things going on personally as well as some disinterest in the game as of late. I have missed out on many of the bonuses and events in gane over the last couple of weeks and have fell behind in completing my Pokedex for Generation Four or the Sinnoh region.
However, I did make the effort to get out and play for a an hour while I did some shopping to get as many shiny Totodiles as possible. I continue to see the community excited as the local mall seemed to be full of trainers spinning gyms and catching Pokemon on Saturday.
From my view, it was an good day as I was able to get two shiny Totodile which is one short of allowing me to have a shiny version of each evolution of the Pokemon. I was also able to accumulate over 300 candy for the Pokemon which I was able to use to evolve two to the Pokemon Feraligatr which now have the exclusive charge move, Hydro Cannon. One was shiny and the other a high IV one that I had been saving.
Lastly, I was able to hatch all the eggs I had left over during after the event which now allows me to get new eggs that could have the new Pokemon released as part of the Generation.
