New Info on Marvel’s Spider-Man Game Has Been Released

This San Diego Comic Con has been generous to those who are eagerly awaiting Insomniac Games upcoming Spider-Man game with a ton of new information announced.

This includes a new story trailer, a limited edition console bundle and a third suit for Spider-man.

Silver Sable Revealed

In a new trailer released during SDCC, Insomniac Games revlead the newest enemy Spider-Man will be facing in his journey to save New York, Silver Sable.

She and her security force, Silver Sable International are hired by New York Mayor Norman Osborn to restore order. Unfortunately for Spidey, this includes taking him down as the Mayor believes his vigilantism is contributing to the cities problems.

Limited Edition Console

If your looking to pick up a PlayStation Pro or simply a massive Spider-Man fan, then this console may be a great fit for you.

The console, is unsurprisingly a mix of Spider-Man's signature red, blue and white colour scheme, with a large Spider-Man logo on the front.

It comes in a bundle which includes the console with one Dualshock 4 controller, a standard edition of the game and 'The City That Never Sleeps' post-launch story chapters.

The Velocity Suit


The latest suit to be announced, the Velocity Suit, which was designed by British comic book artist and film costume designer Adi Granov, who is most well known for the work on the Iron Man films.

This is the third pre-order suit to be announced for the game. The other two are Spider-Punk and Iron Spider.

Spider-Punk is based off a version of spider-man who in the comics from another universe. It adds a spiked mohawk and a sleeveless denim jacket

The Iron Spider suit which was first seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but used by Spidey in Avengers: Infinity War, the suit gives Spidey a ton of new features to play with including mechanical spider-arms.

Thankfully, if you don't want to pre-order you won't have to miss out on the suits.

A post on the PlayStation Blog has revealed that the suits can still be earned in-game regardless of whether or not you pre-ordered, enabling everyone to use the suits.

The game is set to release on September 7th.

Looking forward to this one. No pre-order for me. Will get the suits in game the ol fashioned one. As for now. Giving 'No Man's Sky' a try after a friend mentioned the update fixed a lot. Ever play that one?

I'm going to be honest with you, I haven't. I do plan to try though since recently it was had some good news from it so I am on the same boat as you haha!

I'm really looking forward to this game, in fact I'm going to do a full playthrough and post it here on steemit.
