The Desert map for Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds is almost here and went live on the test servers just yesterday. Earlier in the week the Devs revealed the name and final map locations for Miramar. Along with the new map will come a variety of new usable in game items and equipment. Vehicles and weapons have been teased by Play Battlegrounds on Twitter over the previous weeks. Some of these new additions will be exclusive to the new Desert map and have already been added to the test servers.

Last night at The Game Awards, PUBG managed to win the Best Multiplayer Game award. It beat massive titles such as Call of Duty: WWII, Destiny 2 and Fortnite. During the night, the trailer for the new desert map Miramar was revealed in a world premier. And finally the release date for the full game on PC was announced to be December 20th. The new map and all accompanying items will be released with the full 1.0 version of the game, following the release on Xbox One on December 12th.
