When there is a news about an upcoming game, sometimes the final result of the game is not as great as the cinematic trailer. No wonder there are many gamers who don't feel like hyped out about the game when there are one or two trailers released, eventhough they know that the game came from 'the usually good' big company, or leave them wondering how the game would actually look like. That's what happen to the upcoming Beyond Good and Evil 2, as far as I know. Ubisoft's Creative Director Michel Ancel showed a 15 minutes look to the early in-game engine of Beyond Good and Evil 2

Michel Ancel explain about what can the players do in the game in detail. The players will be able to explore and interact with those who are aboard the ship, take pictures and gather informations and share it with the authorities or other players, and will also be able to go to the outer space. Hopefully this "go to the outer space" thing will not end up like No Man's Sky (oops).
