The bloodbath begins today! So many players have chosen to move into the space of another player. Only ONE will ever leave that space! Players may choose to call the dice-bot or if they don't, I will roll manually for them. Anyone locked in a melee fight is stuck there until just ONE player character remains. Let the baseball bats fly! (Edited for clarity. It could be a zombie that survives.)
Objective: STAY ALIVE long enough to reach the X in the North-West corner before anyone else does!
Players can see a spreadsheet with their inventory and health here:

Prizes:
Everyone who plays gets daily up-votes and the winner takes the pot. NOTE that the daily up-votes will usually more than cover the entrance fee!
Zombie Turn after the players made their moves:
A Runner attacks P1 & P10, rolls 1 = fail.
A Runner attacks P12, rolls 3 = fail.
Right now P12, 11, and 2 are in the best situations. P8 seems to have backed out of this game round.
Spawning
Each time a player moves into an un-charted space (blacked out), new zombies spawn based on dice rolls.
6 spawns a Hulk, 5 spawns a runner, 4 spawns a walker and 3, 2 or 1 spawns nothing.
In case you missed it, you can buy chain-link jewellery here using Steem!

@shifat, you are locked in battle and cannot move until ALL others in your square have been killed. You MUST attack one of the players.

K.
Just saw this comment.
You really don't want us to be peaceful huh. If even being in the same square puts us in a fight 😈
Looks like I'm not too good with the dice right now... hopefully ... Oh dear 😅

You missed your turn at the same time others in your space did, so it all balanced out quite nicely.

So.... what now...?
The rules state that if two players land on the same square, they have to fight.
But the rules also say that if I am in melee with a zombie, I must melee the zombie.
So who must I melee first? Player 10 or the runner?
and if I take out the runner does that mean player 10 gets to hit me without risk of getting struck back?
Similarly, if I simply do not attack the runner and wait for player 10 to take it out, can I attack player 10 without a care in the world?
I'm not sure how to make this fair.. but whoever moves first, player 10 or me, 'loses' this round?
One action per turn is really too limited I think :-/

You may attack either the zombie OR the other player. Taking out a zombie is 1 hit, so they can no longer hit back. Taking out a player will take 3 hits, so the zombie would be my first choice unless you think the zombie will assist YOU with killing the other player. That is also possible because the zombie attacks either one. So it all depends on luck. If one player and the zombie hit the other player, that's 2 points in one turn. If the player attacks the zombie instead and kills it, then each player has a chance of killing the other. Which-ever gets 3 hits in first lives to move. Nothing is for certain. I'm really considering adding another layer to the game for next time based on a suggestion of dropping random treasure chests around the map. More uncertainty!

Hmmmmmm... so since player 10 and me are now in the same square, it basically means we are locked into combat for 3 turns + the zombie slaying turn? We cannot disengage until we're the last one's in the square alive?
Easy choice then: I attack player 10!
It's only a matter of time anyway and I best strike first!
and hope the zombie gives me a hand!!

From the rules:
Key word here is "may". You have a choice. When there are only 2 characters left, then there is no longer a choice and the last 2 fight to the death.
In the case where there are 4 players in one space, they can all gang up on 1 player and eliminate one at a time or randomly choose a player to attack. It is entirely up to the players WHO they wish to attack when there are more than 2 in a single square. Whatever happens, only ONE will walk away!

hey @happyme, sorry, I had commented on an old post about joining the game--I'm assuming it's probably too late to come in to this one, right? That's fine, I'll wait :) . I sent ya the coin, and have read the rules and I think I'm ready when you are! Looking forward to it :)

Sweet. I will put your name on the spreadsheet so that it shows that you have already paid. The spreadsheet is live, so you can click the link from any of the game days and see the current conditions. Any preference on player number? Or would you like to leave the regular players with their old numbers and take whatever is left?

Well.. ya know, I don't wanna start of with enemies before I even meet them ;) . Something did come to mind, though. Leave it to gjones15 to come and start screwing stuff up, but, how cool would it be if, part of the game were, sometimes when you were "attacked," (your brains get eaten--im an old school zomie lover), then you yourself "turn into a zombie!" You know, like in pretty much any zombie movie.. You don't just Die! You become the Living Dead!!!! Just a thought :)

I'm all for tweaking things to make them better!
So what you are proposing is that instead of dying and being out of the game, the dead re-animate and become zombies that chase the living to the objective? Whoa!! That would make the game a whole lot more fun for those who get killed, but one heck of a lot harder for those still alive. I wonder what the others would think about that?

Yes, exactly... Well, not always ya know, they have a chance depending on die roll--either with every attac by zomb or the third and final--but I think it would be cool to do like a random thing somehow, and yeah, players can be zombies too!! yes, it could make things quite a bit more complex, but, seems doable.. So yeah, lets say, it's my third time being hit by a zombie--there's a "decider roll" which determines my fate--Maybe a 1/3 % chance that I'll become a zombie or just die... Seems like it might be kinda interesting lol (basically I wanna eat some BRAINNSAAAAHH!!!)

My thoughts would be to have every player with 3 wounds succumb to the zombies and re-animate after missing a turn or 2 so that the players have a chance to get away. Alternatively, the zombie-players re-animate back at the starting point and need to catch up to the players who will be stalled by fighting.

Perhaps "Fresh zombies" (players) would be a little bit weaker than the normal ones (lol normal zombies) to make it fairer... idk. Perhaps I should paly a round before i start in with my two cents lol

This is actually the FIRST time playing for money. Last round was similar, but without the requirement to fight others sharing a space. It was quite passive all the way to the end as nobody wanted to be mean to anyone else. The game began as a co-operative game and has slowly morphed due to ideas being tossed around. There is no harm in throwing out ideas! If we try it and it doesn't work, we just revert back to what did work.
