Dear Steemians..
4 days ago, I started to share gaming related content instead of doing what I've always done. Freelancing tips, "secrets", ideas and money making tutorials and stuff like that is gone since that day. As I already explained in one of my previous post, I decided to do this, because I've never done it before. This is something new for me, even though I've been a gamer more or less my entire life.
- The first thing I want to say is: Thank you everyone, your support means a lot!
The second thing I want to shed some lights upon, is the fact that I want to bring attention to games on Steemit, like others are doing too, but I want to do it, because I feel it's necessary and for the "greater good" of Steemit so to speak.
- And why?
Seriously, we all know that Facebook, Twitter and YouTube are the main platforms people are using and sharing things on.. Right? - And we know that gamers (and people interested in certain games) are using Twitch to watch people play games and doing funny, odd and cool things online.
- Steemit needs these people too!
Sure, most of them won't buy millions of Steem or build up insane whale accounts on Steemit... BUT, they will and can share content on Steemit everywhere.. - And that's what I'm after.
I'm working hard to bring people to Steemit and I've been doing that since the day I signed up on Steemit.. And I know that I can't do much on my own.. But I can do something.
My something might not be as much as others can do, but my something is more than nothing. No matter how you see it.
- And that's why I want your help, and I appreciate all the help I get. I appreciate every single vote & comment on any of my shares.
YES! The clear lack of gamers on Steemit is almost baffling to me ATM, as gamers tend to be PC savvy people who are used to getting their content online.
I mean seriously, this seems like an ideal site for gamers, specially if you take into consideration the similarities to reddit in the UI design.
In my opinion it's the lack of categories that is making this, as if you just get a giant feed of games, half of them you are not interested in, what is the point of staying here to discuss your favorite games....
